About Artarmon Air Conditioning
Artarmon Air Conditioning is a locally owned business looking after homes and businesses across Sydney’s Lower North Shore, Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs and Inner City. We service, maintain and repair air conditioning on every make and model. We focus on finding the real fault, fixing it properly and leaving your home the way we found it.
Our story
Over 10 years of fixing air conditioners across Sydney, and four years teaching the next lot of technicians how to do it. That's the background behind Artarmon Air Conditioning.
In 2022 Ned started teaching Air Conditioning and Refrigeration at TAFE. When his first summer break came around, six weeks off felt strange after years of 12-hour days in peak season. A few months later, in 2023, he started Artarmon Air Conditioning. It kept him on the tools and his skills current, and the broken parts from real jobs went back to the classroom for students to pull apart.
Word got around. After four years of teaching, demand had outgrown what he could fit around a timetable, so Ned left TAFE to run Artarmon Air Conditioning full time.

Diagnosis you can trust. Years spent teaching how systems work, and why they fail, mean we find the actual cause instead of guessing with parts. We explain it in plain English.
Any brand, any system. Split systems, multi-split, ducted, cassettes, floor consoles, bulkheads, package units and VRV/VRF, whatever the brand.
Licensed and compliant. NSW contractor licence 394793C, ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence L154268 and Refrigerant Trading Authorisation AU60391. We handle and recover refrigerant in line with the Refrigerant Handling Code of Practice 2025.
Your home, treated like our own. We look after your home while we work and clean up after every job.
Where we work
We work across five areas of Sydney: the Lower North Shore, Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs and Inner City. Most of our work is on the Lower North Shore, close to our base, in suburbs including Artarmon, Chatswood, Willoughby, Lane Cove, St Leonards, North Sydney, Cremorne, Neutral Bay and Mosman, and on the Upper North Shore in Lindfield, Killara, Gordon, Pymble and St Ives.
