Air Conditioning Services
Northern Beaches
The Forest district is closer to us than most people on that side of Warringah Road expect. Forestville and Frenchs Forest are under twenty minutes from Artarmon Air Conditioning, because Warringah Road is a straight run. The Beaches are really two jobs: inland it is brick and tile houses on bush blocks running ducted systems, and on the coast it is apartments, walk-ups and salt air that takes years off an outdoor unit. We service and repair wall-mounted splits, multi-head systems, ducted systems, cassettes, bulkheads, floor consoles, package units and VRV/VRF Air Conditioning Systems, whoever installed them.
Service, repairs and deep cleaning across the Northern Beaches. Licensed technician on every job.
NSW contractor licence 394793C. Refrigerant Trading Authorisation AU60391. Fully insured. Workmanship guaranteed for five years.
What We Do Across
the Northern Beaches
Repairs
A fixed price initial diagnosis, the fault explained in plain English, and a fixed price to rectify it before any work starts. Near the coast the recurring repairs are condenser fan motors, fan capacitors and corroded connections in outdoor terminal boxes that have taken years of salt air.
Servicing and maintenance
Four service levels, from $199 including GST for an Essential visit on a single split system, with everything else quoted on enquiry. Anywhere within sight of the water, the level that includes the outdoor unit is the one that earns its money, because salt corrodes the aluminium fins on a condenser coil and a corroded coil quietly costs you capacity every summer.
Deep cleaning and mould
Coastal humidity and closed-up holiday flats are a productive combination for mould on an indoor coil and fan barrel. We strip the indoor unit down, clean the fan barrel and drain tray off the unit, treat the coil in situ with a catch bag fitted, and correct the drainage fault that let the growth start.
Decommissioning and Removal
Equipment that has corroded past the point of repair decommissioned and taken away, along with old refrigeration gear. The refrigerant is recovered on site under Refrigerant Trading Authorisation AU60391 and the metal goes to a scrap recycler.
Every Northern Beaches Suburb We Cover
Based in Artarmon, we service air conditioning across the southern Northern Beaches and the Forest district.
The Forest district. Forestville, Killarney Heights, Frenchs Forest, Davidson, Belrose, Beacon Hill, Allambie Heights, Narraweena, Oxford Falls and Cromer.
Seaforth to Manly. Seaforth, Balgowlah, Balgowlah Heights, North Balgowlah, Clontarf, Manly Vale, North Manly, Fairlight, Manly and Queenscliff.

Just west of it we service the whole of the Lower North Shore.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes, the southern half of it. Artarmon Air Conditioning services and repairs air conditioning through the Forest district, from Seaforth across to Manly, and up as far as Dee Why. Anything north of Dee Why is outside our service area. We hold NSW contractor licence 394793C and Refrigerant Trading Authorisation AU60391, are fully insured, and guarantee our workmanship for five years.

It depends which side you are on. Forestville, Frenchs Forest and Killarney Heights are under twenty minutes from our Artarmon base, because Warringah Road is a direct run. Manly, Fairlight and Queenscliff take longer, because everything has to cross the Spit. Tell us the suburb when you book and we will give you a realistic time rather than an optimistic one.
-
Yes. Salt-laden air corrodes the aluminium fins on an outdoor condenser coil, which restricts airflow and makes the system work harder for the same output, and it rusts casings, brackets and fixings. Artarmon Air Conditioning recommends coastal systems have the outdoor unit properly cleaned and any surface rust treated on a regular cycle, because it adds years to equipment that would otherwise fail early.
